Emergency Procedures

We perform a range of emergency procedures at our hospital.

As there are many reasons your pet could be in an emergency, it’s best to get in touch with us straight away so we can be prepared for your pet’s arrival.

Signs of trauma and distress can include, but not limited to:

 

• Trauma – broken bones, accident

• Not breathing or breathing difficulty

• Bleeding or vomiting blood

• Lethargic or collapsed  

• Disorientated

• Ingested a foreign object or poison

• Constant and continuous cough, unable to settle

If your pet is displaying any signs of stress and trauma, or you are concerned about any other symptoms, please get in touch with us on 02 9789 4464 during regular business hours. There may be instances where we may need to refer you to a specialist or 24-hour emergency hospital.
