Meet the team

We are here for you and your pets

DR. MICHAEL VITLIC

Veterinarian BSc (UNSW), BVSc (USyd)

I have been a Vet for 15 years and love helping animals and their owners navigate life! I enjoy meeting our patients and families during general consultations and performing daily surgeries at our hospital. My special interests include soft tissue/orthopedic surgery and post-operative care. Our team has a great relationship with the local community and recently moved our clinic from nearby Belmore to Kingsgrove. I have a huge hairy dog called Quinn and a cute little floof kitty named Freckle.

DR. YIP BUN LEUNG

Veterinarian DVM (USyd)

Yip has joined us from his previous position at Summer Hill Vet Hospital. His focus is on all aspects of Veterinary care for your pet with a particular focus on Behavioural medicine and management. He is very experienced in Dentistry and our clients love his attention to detail and friendly/light-hearted manner. Yip is doing further study to become a specialist in Behavioural Medicine.

DR TINA HUYNH

Veterinarian BVSc (USyd)

I joined the KVH team in 2019 first as a relief Dr before continuing on part-time as I enjoyed the community. I have worked in a network of busy practices around Sydney since obtaining my vet degree from University of Sydney (2015 cohort). I am a certified Animal Rehabilitation practitioner through CIVT (2023) and a member of IAVRPT. I offer pet families multimodal pain management programmes inclusive of dry needling, laser therapy and nutraceuticals. I have special interests in pocket pets like rabbits and guinea pigs, general wellness, balanced anaesthesia and soft tissue surgery. There is a special place in my heart for the older souls – from geriatric health to end of life care. In my off time I can be found: spending time outdoors, exploring coffee haunts or a recipe, catching up on some meditation as well as being a personal masseuse for my own dogs.

DR. BEN ACHESON

Veterinarian BVSc (USyd)

Dr Ben has joined the team at Kingsgrove part-time. He brings with him a wealth of experience and knowledge gained from his time owning/managing the highly successful Benny & The Pets/Kogarah Animal Hospital. Dr Ben’s jokes are always free and do not come with any additional charges. He loves home renovations, soccer/footy and knitting. He was once apparently known as the “Knitting Champion” of Georges River – However after further questioning about the legitimacy of this award, no confirmation has been forthcoming. Ben enjoys all aspects of Veterinary care including advanced orthopaedic surgery and medicine.
